productive.

This weekend was one of those great, productive weekends.

Helped celebrate Steph and wish her well in OK.
Hung with Rustin & the Vox Dei Community at Theology Pub.
Reorganized my kitchen to my liking... it needed it.
Cleaned my house a bit... it really needed it.
Did my laundry.
First Yoga (via DVD... I dont have the gall to drop into a studio)
Had delicious Thai with the parents.
Almost finished Season 1 of LOST (I've got 25 minutes left... who knew the season finale was 85 minutes...!)

And, topped it off with Step Up 2: the Streets

Im fairly certain Im a street hip hop dancer reincarnated.

yoga?!?! step up 2?!?! dude what's happening to you??? we can work through this. just don't throw your life and any chance you had of dating away. i'll put together an intervention.

oh and don't worry about the last 25 minutes of lost--it won't tell you anything anyway.

damn. i thought yoga and hip hop would increaase my dating appeal.

and just fyi: interventions are typically secret until you invite the unknowing person out to coffee. the intent is to corner them in a public place where you can talk freely about all their personal flaws and lackings. hopefully, the shock of what is happening and the presence of strangers will discourage any tendencies toward flipping out.

at least that's been my experience.

now, if we're thinking about reincarnation and how the hindus view it...
would being graham in this life coming from being a hip hop dancer in the last...
be an upgrade or a decline in the system of things?
are the gods for you or against you?

these are big questions, graham.
you gotta think of these things.

(crap.

If I say "decline" I am essentially confessing that my life as a hip hop dancer wasn't well used and thus I'm being punished for my previous life.

If I say "upgrade" I must somehow live a life worthy of being upgraded from that of a hip hop dancer, which obviously isn't the case...)

Upgrade. No doubt in my mind.

and ps. i love step up 1, perhaps i should see number 2...

for the sake of friendship, i'm going to ignore your bust on my (ab)normal weekend (thai food... a little reorg... LOST... what's more normal?!?)
